Interdisciplinarity

CRASH is founded upon the principles of collaboration and Transdisciplinarity  across Universities and beyond. It aims becomes a public manifestation of the ongoing research in real time, providing face-to-face connections for international researchers and opportunities for a national access to ideas and people engaging in art and science collaborations.

Research Definition

In the context of CRASH, research encompasses the creation of new knowledge and/or the use of existing knowledge in a new and creative way so as to generate new concepts, methodologies and understandings. Research includes the synthesis and analysis of previous research to the extent that it is new and creative.

Research Outputs

CRASH facilitates creative research involved with science originating in Australia. The research outputs are aligned to the Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) criteria:
